Diwali

Diwali the festival of light is one of the most popular festivals of India. Celebrated as the day of homecoming of Lord Ram, Diwali is an occasion of great celebrations. Every inch of the country is adorned with oil lamps, candles and numerous colourful lights. Fire crackers and burnt and sweets distributed among friends and family to mark the festivities. Goddess Lakshmi is also worshipped on this day and Diwali also marks the beginning of the financial year especially for the business community in India.

Holi

To celebrate the festival of colours people from far and wide come to India. Holi has been celebrated in India since the times of Lord Krishna and is still celebrated in the ancient style and fervour.

Republic Day, Independence Day
The Republic Day and the Independence Day are two major national festivals observed in India. Celebrated on the 26th January and 15th August respectively, there are numerous festivities lined up for the days.
